Kuna Lawyers

J. Scott Dowdy's career has been characterized by integrity and a drive to see justice done. His years as mayor of the city of Kuna, as well as his work as a state and federal prosecutor and juvenile public defender, has served to deepen his commitment to equal rights under law.

Serving Clients With Integrity

J. Scott Dowdy's watchword as a Kuna attorney has always been "integrity." It shows in his relationship with his clients; he works hard to give them the best possible representation, yet is always straight with them about what the best outcome is likely to be — whether they want to hear what he has to say or not. It shows in his fee structure and his determination that his clients get what they pay for.

As a sole practitioner, he is able to give his clients an unusual degree of personal service. He believes that the most important thing in a lawyer-client relationship is keeping the channels of communication open, and he will go to great lengths to do so.

Making Justice Affordable

Dowdy Law Office's fee structure is designed to allow J. Scott Dowdy to provide representation to the largest number of clients. In the initial consultation, once he takes the case he will determine whether there are any obvious rights violations or other grounds for challenging the charge. If not, he will negotiate so as to get you the best possible outcome.

To this point, the charge is a flat fee. If you decide that you want to challenge the charge at trial, the charge becomes an hourly fee and a retainer is required.
